Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How much does it cost to doubleback?

A: The total amount of your bet on that particular hand.

Q: If I double on a hard 12 and get a 10, is my hand over?

A: No. You can doubleback from 22 for the amount of the initial bet + the double down.

Q: Can I split and double on my splits?

A: Follow the house rules of regular blackjack for splits and doubles.

Q: Can I just play regular blackjack on this game and collect 2-1 on blackjack?

A: Yes, but many times it is to your advantage to try and make your hand better.

Q: So to doubleback, you remove the card that busted me and give me a new one?

A: No. If you bust with 24, the next card gets subtracted from 24.

Q: So if I have 24 and doubleback and get an ace, I now have 13?

A: No. Aces count only as 1 on a doubleback; you would have 23.

Q: Can I hit after a doubleback?

A: No. You receive one card only on a doubleback.

Q: What happens if my hand wins after a doubleback?

A: You win your doubleback bet and you save/push your original bet.

Q: What if I lose after a doubleback bet?

A: Both bets are lost.
